This song was written by John McConnell and is dedicated to Nathan Cirillo who was mercilessly gunned down at Canada's national war memorial in Ottawa on October 22nd 2014.

The pipes you hear in the song are called uilleann pipes. They are similar to bagpipes with a slightly different design and they are of Irish origin.

The song contains a portion of Harper's speech and was included for documentary purposes and is not meant as a political statement or endorsement.
